Sometimes lovebirds will not lay eggs. However, some lovebirds will lay multiple eggs in their lifetimes. There is no way to tell if a lovebird will lay eggs until you have observed her.

What do you do if or when the lovebird eggs hatch?

If you do not want 4-6 additional lovebirds, here's how. First order dummy eggs online. Lovebird size. This will trick the lovebirds into thinking the eggs will hatch and will also keep them from having another clutch. Second you will need to get the eggs and put them in the freezer. Sometimes they can hatch in the oddest of locations. Once they have been frozen, throw them away. Eventually the lovebirds will stop trying to raise eggs, and will become regular pairs again once breeding season ends.

What are lovebirds called when they hatch?

Lovebirds eggs are edible?

Well, darling, technically speaking, lovebirds' eggs are indeed edible, just like any other bird's eggs. However, I wouldn't recommend raiding a lovebird's nest for breakfast unless you want to deal with some angry lovebird parents coming after you. So, proceed with caution and maybe stick to the eggs from the grocery store for your morning omelet.
