Eagles are daytime predators. The eyesight of these birds it designed for long distance, visual hunting during daylight hours (e.g. millions of cone cells). So, eagles can see at night but not signifigantly. Owls, which are nocturnal hunters, have more adapted night vision.

I read on the internet that eagles have a higher percentage of cone cells than we humans do, so they can't see as well as we do at night. They do see better than we do in daylight.
