Carbon dioxide is important in the atmosphere as it is one of the greenhouse gases that has been helping to keep the earth warm for millions of years. Not too much, not too little, but just the right amount.

Unfortunately we are now adding too much carbon dioxide to the atmosphere, causing global warming and climate change.

The carbon dioxide and oxygen cycle is important because it regulates the levels of these gases in the atmosphere, supporting life on Earth. Plants take in carbon dioxide for photosynthesis and release oxygen, which is essential for the respiration of plants and animals. This cycle helps maintain a balance of gases necessary for the survival of all living organisms.

carbon dioxide-oxygen cycle is important to us because humans need oxygen to live as well as plants need carbon dioxide in photosynthesis. humans and animals take in oxygen, given off from trees and plants. as humans and animals uses energy, respiration occurs and they give off carbon dioxide which trees and plants need in photosynthesis. without this cycle, or one factor is missing, living things cannot survive because oxygen and carbon dioxide are both useful in our daily lives. we must also be aware that trees and plants are very important to us and we must take care of them...

Actually, we know that Carbon dioxide is not important to the human beings or other animals, and we require oxygen to breathe. But the ones who give us oxygen, actually they require carbon dioxide. So carbon dioxide is important. Moreover, Carbon dioxide is not something that is only required by living organisms, but it is the basic requirement of life. Carbon dioxide has the chief component, carbon. In plants, various biochemical metabolism are hampered without this compound. Glucose cannot be prepared without the carbon dioxide involvement. And Glucose is the major compound that what all the fruits and vegetables constitute. And it is these fruits and vegetables are something on what the whole biosphere is dependant on.

Oxygen is far more important. But it is not that life cannot exist without oxygen. Oxygen is important to all the life forms. For organisms with developed nervous system, oxygen content matters. Their brains won't work without oxygen. Oxygen is useful because it is reactive. Life has always remained unstable. If one system of molecules in living tissue stabilises means that it gets damaged. As oxygen is reactive, it keeps all the interactions within the living tissues continue. So the life exists.

Actually, life is carried out with the help of adequate concentration of carbon dioxide in atmosphere to maintain perfect temperature; and it is oxygen that continues it. So both are important.

cabon oxygen is im portantant beause humans need oxygen gas to live and we exhale C02 gas; as well as plants like flowers and trees to have carbon dioxide in order to do photosynthesis to produce oxygen gas.

How are the oxygen and carbon cycles linked?

In the carbon cycle, plants take in carbon dioxide during photosynthesis and produce oxygen as a byproduct. This oxygen is released into the atmosphere and is then used by organisms for respiration. Therefore, the oxygen and carbon cycles are closely linked through the processes of photosynthesis and respiration.

What cycle involves photosynthesis and respiration?

The carbon cycle involves photosynthesis and respiration. In photosynthesis, plants take in carbon dioxide to produce glucose and oxygen, while in respiration, organisms use oxygen to break down glucose and release carbon dioxide back into the atmosphere.

Photosynthesis and cellular respiration are part of which cycle?

Photosynthesis and cellular respiration are part of the carbon cycle. Photosynthesis converts carbon dioxide into organic compounds, while cellular respiration releases carbon dioxide back into the atmosphere.

What is the relationship between the oxygen cycle and the carbon cycle?

The carbon and oxygen cycle are related by complementary relationship. For example whenever animals and humans breath they breath in oxygen and breath out carbon. Another example is plant and trees tack in carbon for nutrients and releases oxygen.

What is the relationship between oxygen production and the assimilation of carbon?

Oxygen production through photosynthesis is directly related to the assimilation of carbon dioxide by plants. During photosynthesis, plants use carbon dioxide to produce glucose and release oxygen as a byproduct. Therefore, the more carbon dioxide plants assimilate, the more oxygen they will produce.

What does the carbon dioxide oxygen cycle look like?

The carbon dioxide oxygen cycle, also known as the carbon cycle, involves the exchange of carbon dioxide and oxygen between living organisms and the atmosphere. During photosynthesis, plants take in carbon dioxide and release oxygen, while during respiration, organisms take in oxygen and release carbon dioxide. This cycle helps maintain the balance of oxygen and carbon dioxide in the atmosphere.

What happens in the carbon dioxide oxygen cycle?

In the carbon dioxide-oxygen cycle, plants take in carbon dioxide during photosynthesis and release oxygen as a byproduct. Animals then consume this oxygen and release carbon dioxide as a waste product during respiration. This cycle maintains a balance of oxygen and carbon dioxide in the atmosphere essential for life on Earth.
