Butterflies start their life cycle as caterpillars because they undergo a process called metamorphosis. This transformation allows them to completely change their form and structure before becoming butterflies. Caterpillars serve as the larval stage of a butterfly's life cycle where they grow and develop before emerging as adult butterflies.
There are 128 butterflies in total at the butterfly park. This is calculated based on the ratio of 8:4 for North American butterflies, which means for every 8 North American butterflies, there are 4 South American butterflies. Given there are 64 North American butterflies, the total number is doubled to include South American butterflies in a 1:2 ratio to European butterflies.
As far as i can tell a rabble of butterflys or a swarm of butterflys is the answer ... go figure ???
Butterflies can vary in size depending on the species. Some butterflies can be as small as a fingernail while others can have a wingspan of up to 12 inches.
Butterflies are not considered people. Butterflies belong to the animal kingdom, specifically the insect class. People refer to humans, who belong to the species Homo sapiens.

Because if u put the number of butterflies (say...5) and the number of ants (2) you have to put the number of butterflies first because it said butterflies first. So the ratios has to be 5:2. If you put 2:5 they will think there are 2 butterflies and 5 ants.
Basically ther are more catipillers born than can be eaten, so some survive.
