Mr. Myles planted seeds in a barrel because he wanted to create a garden in a challenging urban environment, as a way to beautify and revitalize the area. The barrel provided a controlled space for the seeds to grow, allowing him to bring nature and life to the concrete surroundings of the neighborhood.
