cytokenisis. this is the last and final step to the cell cycle. but technicly it can also can be considered the first step of the cell cycle because it starts and ends with cell division. (a.k.a cytokenisis).

The phase following telophase is interphase. Interphase is a period of cell growth and DNA replication where the cell prepares for the next round of cell division. It is divided into three subphases: G1, S, and G2.

What is the stage of the cell when DNA replication occurs?

No, the stage of the cell cycle when DNA replication occurs is not called telophase. DNA replication occurs in the S (Synthesis) phase of the cell cycle. Telophase is the last stage of mitosis or meiosis, when the nuclear envelopes re-form (it occurs at the same time as cytokinesis - which separates the cells).

What is the last phase of mitosis?

The last phase of mitosis is telophase. During telophase, the separated chromosomes reach the opposite poles of the cell, nuclear membranes re-form around each set of chromosomes, and the chromosomes begin to decondense. Cytokinesis, the division of the cytoplasm, usually follows telophase to complete the process of cell division.

Which phase does the nuclear membrane form around the chromosomes?

The nuclear membrane reforms around the chromosomes during telophase of mitosis. Telophase marks the end of nuclear division and the beginning of cytoplasmic division.

What phase of mitosis where the cytokinesis is completed?

The completion of cytokinesis occurs during the final phase of mitosis, known as telophase. During telophase, the nuclear membrane reforms around the separated sets of chromosomes, and two distinct daughter nuclei are created. Cytokinesis, the division of the cytoplasm, then follows, resulting in the separation of the two daughter cells.

What phase of cells cycle are the types of cycle in your body?

mitosis - interphase - prophase - metaphase - anaphase - telophase - cytokinesis

What is the order of the phase of the cell cycle?

G1 phase then S phase then G2 phase then comes meitosis (interphase, prophase, metaphase, anaphase, telophase) then cytokinesis

When does cytokinesis occur in cell cycle?

It usually occurs in telophase of mitosis and in the M (mitotic) phase.

In cell cycle where mitosis occurs?

Mitosis occurs during the cell cycle in the M phase. This phase follows the G2 phase and is essential for cell division and reproduction. During mitosis, the cell nucleus divides into two identical daughter nuclei.
