Below is a listing of plant and animal cell organelles.

Plant only

  • Cell Wall (impermeable)
  • Chloroplast
  • Plasmodesmata

Animal only

  • Centriole
  • Cilia (only specialized cells)
  • Flagellum (only on sperm)

Organelles present in both plants and animals

  • Nucleolus
  • Cytosol
  • Centrosome
  • Golgi apparatus
  • Lysosome
  • Peroxisome
  • Secretory Vesicle
  • Cell Membrane (semipermeable)
  • Mitochondria
  • Vacuole
  • Rough Endoplasmic Reticulum
  • Smooth Endoplasmic Reticulum
  • Ribosomes
  • Cytoskeleton
  • Plasma Membrane

Plant cells and animal cells contain organelles?

yes animal cells and plant cells do have organelles

Do plant cells have organelles?

yes. organelles or cell parts can be found in plant and animal cells

Are there any organelles that are found in animal cells but not in plant cells?

Centrioles are found in animal cells but not in plant cells. They are involved in cell division and are important for the organization of the cytoskeleton.

What two organelles are found are found in plant cells but not in animal cells?

Cell wall and chloroplasts are two organelles found in plant cells not within animal cells.

What two organelles do animal cells have that plant cells lack?

The two organelles that plant cells have that animal cells lack are: 1. Cell wall 2. Vacuole.

What organelles do plant cells have animal do not?

Lysosome ,Centriole, and VesicleActually, animal cells do not have any different organelles than plant cells, other than plant cells having a membrane. animal cells do not have a membrane, they have a cell wall.

Why are organells in plant cell and not in animal cell?

Both plant and animal cells have organelles. However, plant cells have additional organelles such as chloroplasts and large central vacuoles that are not present in animal cells. These organelles are essential for functions specific to plant cells, such as photosynthesis and maintaining turgor pressure.

Is organelles in plant cells or animal cells?

Organelles are found in both plant and animal cells. They are the "little organs" within cells that allow the cell to carry out particular functions.

Are organelles found in animal and plant cells?

Of course organelles are found in animal and plant cells. They are in every living cell

What structure (organelles) do both plant and animal cells have?

Nucleus, Endoplasmic reticulum and ribosomes are three of many organelles found in both plant and animal cells.

What organelles are present in animal cells but not in plants cells?

Lysosomes are present in animal cells but not plant cells.
