RNA is kinda like DNA it consists of a long chain of nucleotides. the sugar in RNA is ribose instead of deoxyribose ,RNA is generally a single-strand, and RNA contains uracil in place of tyhme.

Ribosomes are composed of two main subunits - a larger subunit and a smaller subunit. These subunits are made up of RNA and proteins. The ribosomes have a binding site for mRNA (messenger RNA) and tRNA (transfer RNA) molecules to facilitate protein synthesis.

The structure of rRNA is shaped like popcorn. It has two subunits: the large, dark red subunit (LSU), and the small dark blue subunit (SSU). rRNA perform critical functions in the ribosome that allow protein synthesis to occur.

tRNA, also known as transfer RNA, helps ribosomes build proteins out of specific chains of amino acids. tRNA looks kind of like a puzzle piece shaped like a t, fittingly, and it reads the instructions for assembling unique proteins on the ribosome.

Why Erythromycins does not destroy the 70s ribosomes in mitochondria which is inside eukaryotic cells while it destroys 70s ribosomes in bacteria?

Erythromycin does not affect mitochondrial 70S ribosomes because mitochondrial ribosomes are structurally different from bacterial ribosomes. Erythromycin targets the specific structure of bacterial ribosomes without affecting the similar but different structure of mitochondrial ribosomes found in eukaryotic cells. This difference in ribosome structure allows erythromycin to selectively target bacterial ribosomes while sparing eukaryotic mitochondrial ribosomes.
