Asexual reproduction is when an organism doesn't require another organism to reproduce. Amoeba just split in half, for instance, and molds and ferns produce spores.

Asexuality is a sexual orientation, and can be said to be the opposite of being bisexual. So an "asexual" is a person who is not romantically and/or sexually attracted to other human beings. It is not the same as being "loveless" since platonic friendships are a type of love, and without the pressures, frustrations, and preoccupation with sex, such persons may have much more of themselves to give to regular friendships. Likewise, loving your own parents, siblings, or children doesn't require sexuality.

Asexual refers to a type of reproduction where offspring are produced from a single parent organism, without the fusion of gametes. Reproduction is the process by which organisms produce offspring, either sexually (involving the fusion of gametes) or asexually.

asexual reproduction means one parent, such as a mushroom, or a single celled ameba. Sexual reproduction has two parents, such as humans (of course), dogs, cows etc.

What would you say in the most important difference between the two types of reproduction?

The most important difference between sexual and asexual reproduction is that sexual reproduction involves the fusion of genetic material from two parents, resulting in offspring with genetic diversity, while asexual reproduction involves a single parent and produces offspring that are genetically identical to the parent.

Which would produce more parent characteristics Asexual or sexual reproduction?

Sexual reproduction typically produces offspring with a wider range of genetic combinations, leading to more diversity in parent characteristics. Asexual reproduction leads to offspring that are genetically identical to the parent, resulting in less variation in characteristics between parent and offspring.

What is the other name of asexual reproduction?

The other name for asexual reproduction is agamogenesis.

Which of these is the major difference between asexual and sexual reproduction in sea stars?

The major difference is that asexual reproduction in sea stars involves the regeneration of a new individual from a severed part of the sea star, while sexual reproduction involves the fusion of gametes from two separate individuals to produce offspring with genetic variation.

Write down the difference between sexual and asexual reproduction?

Sexual reproduction involves the fusion of two specialized cells (gametes) from two parents to create offspring with genetic variation. Asexual reproduction involves producing offspring without the fusion of gametes, resulting in genetically identical offspring to the parent.

their is a lot of difference. they are the steps of asexual reproduction.

What is the difference between sexual and asexual reproduction plants?

Sexual reproduction includes the fusion of gametes during the production of offspring. Asexual reproduction produces new offspring without the fusion of gametes.

What is the difference between sexual reproduce and asexual reproduce?

Sexual reproduction requires an two haploid gametes fusing to form a single diploid organism. Asexual reproduction does not.

What is the primary difference between asexual and sexual reprouduction?

asexual reproduction is an exact copy made from only one organism. The latter is from two organisms.

What is the difference between sexual reproduction and asexual reproduction in organisms?

Sexual reproduction involves the fusion of two half-cells, or gametes, to create an offspring, e.g. in humans. Asexual reproduction referes to reproduction without the need for another organism, e.g. binary fission (spliting) in bacteria.

What is the most important difference between asexual and sexual reproduction?

The key difference is that asexual reproduction involves a single parent, resulting in offspring that are genetically identical to the parent. In sexual reproduction, two parents contribute genetic material to produce genetically diverse offspring.

What is the difference between asexual reproduction and secxtual reproductuction?

Asexual reproduction involves a single parent producing genetically identical offspring, while sexual reproduction involves two parents contributing genetic material to produce genetically diverse offspring. Asexual reproduction is common in simpler organisms, while sexual reproduction is found in more complex organisms.

What is similar between asexual and sexual reproduction?

They are both forms of reproduction.
