I have been a CPR instructor for many years.

If you do compresions of the xiphoid, it could lacerate the liver and the person could die.

Keep your hands "high" on the chest.

If the xiphoid were broken off the sterum for anyreason, accident or othewise, it could have the same results

If the xiphoid process breaks off, it can lead to symptoms such as pain, tenderness, and potential complications like difficulty breathing or swallowing. In severe cases, surgery may be required to remove the broken fragment if it causes significant discomfort or complications. It is important to seek medical attention if you suspect a broken xiphoid process.

It's not exactly easy, but really enthusiastic CPR can damage it and lacerate internal organs. Keep to upper sternum. A direct impact from a blunt object certainly can crack it amd do even worse internal damage.

Is it asexual or sexual when a small piece of a cactus breaks off the plant and falls to the ground and begins to grow?

Asexual reproduction occurs when a small piece of cactus breaks off, falls to the ground, and grows into a new plant without involving the fusion of gametes from two individuals. This process allows the cactus to propagate without the need for pollination or fertilization.

What produces a small organism that breaks off from the original organism to live on its own?

During endocytosis what happens to the pocket in the cell membrane when it breaks loose from the membrane?

When the pocket in the cell membrane breaks loose during endocytosis, it forms a budding vesicle that encloses the material being internalized. This vesicle then pinches off from the membrane and moves into the cytoplasm of the cell to deliver the material to its target destination.
