The right cerebral hemisphere controls the left side of the body. In a cognitive sense the right hemisphere is the "creative" side of the brain in that it is the hemisphere used by artists, authors, inventors, singers, screenwriters etc. in thinkiing up new ideas and bringing them into existence.
