Basically a "blank" cell that has not been assigned a specific cell (like brain cell, skin cell.) People are researching them for the possibility that they could regrow someone an organ in a medical emergency. However there is a morality issue is that you can only get these cells from infants, and research is trying to come up with another source of these miracle cells.
