Clostridium
H. pylori/E coli/salmonella which results in gastritis
Colon Cancer/Tumor
IBD (colitis/Crohn's disease)
A hernia could do it if it was prolonged over a period of time (necrosis)
Or a tumor that pushes into a hernia.
I've heard of another condition that involved fungi, but I can't remember what it was called.
Excessively using laxatives.
If a person drank some kind of poison or an extremely acidic material ,and the person lived, the intestines would show up black and rigid.
An extreme allergic reaction that only reacts in the intestines.(very rare)
Very doubtfully extreme constipation that resulted in a large rip or tear(rupture) in the colon.
An abscess or infection from a rip or hemorrhoid.
Rotting food might be able to if the individual's metabolism was extremely slow/stunted and they suffered from a liver/gallbladder disorder where they didn't produce sufficient bile.
Herpes might be able to; however, I've only heard of it happening in animals.
Lastly and most unlikely over exposure to radioactive materials.
There are more, but these are just a handful.
There are more bacteria that can cause gastritis. In addition, there are worms that can cause similar conditions.
I can't think of what can cause a black spleen.
This could be caused by a condition called ischemic bowel disease, which occurs when blood flow to the intestines and spleen is compromised, leading to tissue death. Causes include blood clots, blockages, or severe infections. Immediate medical attention is necessary to prevent severe complications.
Threadworms, or pinworms, are typically found in the intestines and do not directly cause harm to the spleen. However, severe infestations can lead to complications such as inflammation of the intestines or rectal area, which could potentially affect nearby organs like the spleen. It is important to consult a healthcare provider for proper diagnosis and treatment if you suspect an infection.
It is unlikely for the Heimlich maneuver to cause the spleen to rupture. The Heimlich maneuver is a safe and effective technique to dislodge foreign objects from a choking person's airway. However, if excessive force is applied, it could potentially cause injury to the spleen, but this is rare.
A 6mm hypodensity in the right kidney and spleen refers to an area that appears less dense on imaging. This could be due to various reasons such as cysts, fluid collections, or benign lesions. Further evaluation with additional imaging or tests may be needed to determine the exact cause.
Yes, the spleen can be injured from a fall due to its location in the upper left abdomen. A fall or impact to this area can cause the spleen to rupture or bruise, leading to internal bleeding. It is important to seek medical attention if you suspect a spleen injury.
Yes, a blood clot in the spleen can cause intense pain. The spleen is highly vascular and any obstruction to blood flow due to a clot can result in symptoms like pain, tenderness, and potentially serious complications if left untreated. It is important to seek medical attention if you suspect a blood clot in the spleen.

splenomegaly (enlarged spleen) could cause the spleen to rupture. The principal of my elementary school had a pet Saint Bernard that died from a ruptured spleen.
They could be a cause, but you should get checked. Black feces could mean internal bleeding

Can anyone tell me what could cause an enlarged spleen and liver in a Junior female dog aged 6months?
no
Yes. It can seriously harm a goldfishes intestines if eaten and can cause fatal diseases to their brain or stomach if its fumes were inhaled. Green Algae is OK for fishes to be around but if excessive algae grows in tank then it could, too, be fatal.

There could be something wrong with your spleen. You could have Pancreatitis. You could have IBS. You may have appendicitis, or something is wrong with you digestive tract. Most of these options would require a fast trip to the ER
It is unlikely to get a ruptured spleen from throwing up due to mono. Mono can cause enlargement of the spleen, increasing the risk of rupture with physical trauma, but throwing up alone is not likely to cause a rupture. However, it's important to seek medical attention if you are experiencing severe abdominal pain or signs of a ruptured spleen.
