Rhesus negative is one of the major two variants in blood typing (the other obviously being Rh positive). For example, people refer to themselves as "A+", "O-" or "AB-". There is nothing wrong with having it.

No, Rh negative refers to the absence of the Rh antigen on red blood cells, while a negative typically describes a lack or absence of something. In the context of blood types, Rh negative is a specific type of blood, while negative refers to a broader concept of lacking a certain quality or characteristic.

It depends. There are 8 main types of blood. A, B, AB, O, A negative, B negative, AB negative, and O negative. The 'negative' means you do not have the RH in your blood. The origin of RH negatives is unknown. Some say that it came from aliens! So A negative would also be RH negative

Rh factor and Blood type are two different ways to analyse blood. It's like saying you are 6 feet tall and have blonde hair- you are just describing two different things.

You can have type O, A, B, or AB blood. You can also be either Rh positive or negative for each blood type.

Your blood type of O Rh negative means you can donate blood to anyone. Being Rh positive or negative describes whether you have a protein on your red blood cells or not. If you don't have the protein, you are Rh negative; if you have the protein, you're Rh-positive. 15% of people are Rh negative, making it a rarer blood type.

Can a black person be rh negative?

The Black Cochin Jewish population has a high percentage of Rh-negative blood but the Rh-negative blood type is uncommon in the Black population in general, which is exactly the same interesting phenomenon as with the Oriental Jews of Israel who have a high percentage of Rh-negative blood, where among the Chinese and Japanese, Rh-negative blood type it is almost nonexistent.

Is there any problems of having kids when couples have same Rh factor?

If both parents have the same Rh factor (positive or negative), there is no risk of Rh incompatibility that could affect future pregnancies. Rh factor only becomes a concern when the mother is Rh-negative and the father is Rh-positive, which can lead to Rh incompatibility in the fetus.

Is A negative blood the same as A Rhesus Negative?

No, A negative blood refers to the absence of the A antigen on red blood cells, while Rhesus negative (Rh-) refers to the absence of the Rh antigen. A person can be A negative and Rh positive or A negative and Rh negative.

If the parents are Rh positive could they produce an Rh negative child or just Rh positive offspring?

We are looking for the possible Rh blood types of a baby.Parental information:Mother Rh pos -- can be (++) or (+-) = contributes (+) or (-) geneFather Rh pos -- can be (++) or (+-) = contributes (+) or (-) geneBaby receives one gene from each parent: Baby is Rh (++) = Rh posBaby is Rh (+-) = Rh posBaby is Rh (--) = Rh negTherefore, depending on the exact genetics of the parents, the baby may be Rh positive or negative.

Can a rh negative child be born from parents who neither are rh negative?

Yes, an Rh negative child can be born to parents who are not Rh negative if both parents carry a recessive Rh negative gene. This can occur if both parents are Rh positive but are carriers of the Rh negative gene.

Can a child born with rh negative blood type be the offspring of an o positive father?

Yes, a child born with Rh negative blood type can be the offspring of an O positive father if the mother is also Rh negative, as the Rh factor is determined by both parents' blood types. If the mother is Rh positive, the child may inherit the Rh negative trait from the mother and be Rh negative.

Does an Rh negative child require both parents carry at least one Rh negative allele?
