there are 1001 cell produced in male and females meiosis

During meiosis one microspore mother cell in the male results in to four microspores after meiosis; so is the case with megaspore mother cell also in females but out of four megaspores only one is functional and the degerating three megaspores nourish the developing one.

In meiosis, both males and females produce four daughter cells each. However, in males, all four cells develop into sperm cells, while in females, only one of the four cells develops into an egg cell, with the other three becoming polar bodies that do not mature into gametes.

What is the name for cells produced by meiosis?

The cells produced by meiosis are called gametes. In males, the gametes are sperm cells, while in females, the gametes are egg cells.

Does meiosis occur in males or females?

Meiosis occurs in both males and females. In males, meiosis takes place in the testes to produce sperm cells, while in females, meiosis occurs in the ovaries to produce egg cells.

What cells produced after meiosis?

After meiosis, haploid cells are produced. These cells are called gametes – sperm cells in males and egg cells in females. These gametes have half the number of chromosomes as the parent cell.

Where are haploid cells produced in humans?

Haploid cells are produced in the gonads (testes in males, ovaries in females) through the process of meiosis. During meiosis, germ cells undergo two rounds of cell division to produce haploid gametes (sperm in males, ova in females) that contain half the number of chromosomes as the parent cell.

What best describes the daughter cells produced by meiosis?

Collectively they are called gametes. Separately they're called sperm in males and eggs in females.

Egg and sperm cells are produced in?

Egg cells are produced in the ovaries of females, while sperm cells are produced in the testes of males.

Where in the body does meiosis occur?

Meiosis is cell division of the germ cells, the egg and sperm. It occurs in the ovary in females and testis in males.

In what part of your body system does meiosis occur?

Meiosis occurs in the reproductive organs of the body, specifically in the testes in males and the ovaries in females. This process is responsible for producing sperm cells in males and egg cells in females.

How many active sperm cells are produced by males in meiosis?

Males produce four active sperm cells through meiosis.

What are the sexual reproductive cells in meiosis called?

Sexual reproductive cells in meiosis are called gametes. These include sperm cells in males and egg cells in females.

What does each sex cells are produced through the process of?

Each sex cell is produced through the process of meiosis. Meiosis is a type of cell division that results in four daughter cells with half the number of chromosomes as the parent cell, leading to genetic diversity in sexual reproduction. In males, meiosis produces sperm cells, while in females, meiosis produces egg cells.

What is the name of the cells produced at the end of meiosis in males?

Secondary spermatocyte
