Cells will only grow to a certain size. If a cell gets too big, it is much harder for the cell to transport food and wastes in and out of the cell fro the nucleus. so, to avoid this, the cell divides.

Cells can only grow to a limited size because as they grow larger, it becomes more difficult for nutrients and oxygen to reach the center of the cell, while waste products also have a harder time being removed efficiently. This limits the cell's ability to function properly and can lead to stress on its internal structures.

Can you live without cell division?

No to cannot live without cell division because our cells need to divide to make us grow. Also we need cell division to survive because our cells only live for a limited amount of time, so if our cells don't divide then the cells will just die and we won't survive.

What kind of eye stem cells can only differentiate into a few types of eye cells?

Restricted potency eye stem cells, such as retinal stem cells, can differentiate into a limited number of cell types specific to the eye, like photoreceptors or retinal pigment epithelium cells. These cells have a more limited differentiation potential compared to pluripotent stem cells.

Why do the cells take up a regular shape of human body ie why don't they grow in some other shape?

The DNA instructions turned on in particular cells tell these cells how to grow. Also there are two usual " mechanistic " reasons cells do not grow all over the place. Cells are substrate dependent and mas dependent. This means they grow on something that can give them a general shape and they only grow so many to a certain area/volume. Cancer cells are such a problem because they don't conform to either of these constraints.

What part of you never grows as you get older?

Actually, your heart does grow. Your eyes are the only part of your body not to grow. The cells may be replaced or updated, but your eyes never grow.

What if your body grows because your cells do what?

When your body grows, it's because the cells in your body are dividing and multiplying. This process is necessary for normal growth and development, and is tightly regulated by your genetic information and various growth factors.
