No! It is literally the worst possible taste I could think of! Many people chew it because it 'hits you faster'. But if you do chew it, make sure to drink lots of water to watch that disgusting taste out of your mouth! But, it often gets stuck in your teeth, so you will be tasting that for about a half hour! My friends and I call the taste "fireworks" because as soon as you chew, its taste just explodes in your mouth! My advice: Don't chew it unless you don't care about bad tastes in your mouth!
Smell and taste are closely related senses. The majority of what is perceived as taste is actually derived from the sense of smell, as olfactory receptors in the nose contribute to our perception of flavor.
smell.
Taste refers to the sensations we perceive through our taste buds on the tongue, detecting basic tastes like sweet, sour, salty, bitter, and umami. Smell, on the other hand, is detected through receptors in the nose and helps us distinguish different scents and odors in the environment. Taste and smell often work together to create our overall perception of flavor.
Flavor and smell are closely connected in how we perceive taste. The aroma of food enhances the flavor we experience on our taste buds, as both senses work together to create a complete sensory experience. This is why food may taste different when we have a cold and our sense of smell is affected.
The sense of smell and taste are closely intertwined. When nasal congestion occurs during a cold, the taste you have can be affected to where you can only have the base tastes of salty, sweet, bitter, or sour.
