I, personally do. It all makes sense to me. I never even thought of it as a theory when I was younger- it just makes sense. (My opinion.)
I do not believe in it. This question asks for personal opinion, so I will share mine as well. I accept the theory, however, on the grounds that it best explains the evidence and observations. If a better theory comes along, I will reject Darwin's theory and go along with that one instead. The possibility that will happen appears to be extremely remote, however, in that we have accumulated vast amounts of data to indicate Darwin's theory is essentially correct.
One thing Darwin was wrong about concerned the rate at which evolution occurs. He assumed it was typically slow and gradual, based on the limited range of fossils he had accumulated. His observation is accurate in respect that most species experience relatively long periods of stasis in which little change occurs. However, Gould and Eldredge note that these long stretches are occasionally punctuated by periods of rapid change protracted over intervals as brief as a hundred thousand years. One example of this is the period of rapid change of cetaceans from terrestrial creatures into marine mammals, a transformation that took place over just a few million years.
Edwin Darwin did not propose a separate theory on evolution. The theory of evolution is commonly attributed to Charles Darwin, who put forth the concept of natural selection as the mechanism driving evolution. Edwin Darwin does not have a notable theory associated with evolution.
Yes, Darwin's theory of evolution by natural selection continues to be a fundamental principle in the field of biology and is widely accepted by the scientific community. It is used to explain the diversity of species and their adaptations to different environments.
Charles Darwin's father, Robert Darwin, died from unknown causes at the age of 69 in 1848. There is no definitive record of the precise cause of his death.
Yes, Charles Darwin's book "On the Origin of Species" published in 1859 greatly influenced the field of biology and the way we understand the diversity of life on Earth. It introduced the theory of evolution by natural selection, sparking significant advancements in the scientific community and challenging popular beliefs at the time.
Alfred Russel Wallace independently developed the theory of evolution by natural selection, which was very similar to Charles Darwin's ideas. Wallace and Darwin jointly published a scientific paper on the subject in 1858.
Charles Darwins theory is wrong to religon as it is very clear god created the world. and theories like Darwins are wrong.
Not at all. There are many people today that disbelieve any theory of evolution, not just Darwins.
Charles Darwin studied birds, medicine, and theory of evolution.
If you're referring to the guy who formed the theory of evolution, no. He died in 1882, I believe.
many got upset at first and didn't believe him and others did
charles darwins hobbies are flying in the sky andtexting on his phone
