Writing on your skin probably won't kill you, but it's not exactly healthy.While most highlighter inks are nontoxic, they do contain chemicals that can be poisonous if taken in large amounts. Fortunatly, you generally have to swallow at least an ounce (that's several highlighters worth) of ink to get poisoned. So the answer is YES if you have it on/in you body in lage ammounts, but NO if you accidentally drew on yourself. - Chow
