The motto of the wise is: Beware of surprises. It is medically possible. The body would have the normal binocular structure ( no cyclopean mining-helmet look here) - but the one eye would be defective or residual, the other one normal. more properly they would be (Blind in one eye) I knew of a lad in Williamsport, Pa, who wore eyeglasses with one totally dark and one normal lens- it really looked weird, this might have been the case. Do not confuse with Pirate style eye patch or monocle, where only one eye needs correction- like Colonel Klink, who was always losing his when saluting!
