So long as you are making sure the jewellery and piercing are both clean then changing the jewellery shouldn't be an issue. Just make sure you are buying quality jewellery and not the cheap off shore junk that is available almost everywhere, that will cause you no end of pain and problems. If you need to buy jewellery buy it from professional body piercing studios that actually do body piercing not just some retail outlet in the mall.
As long as the jewellery is of the same or better quality than what is in the piercing now you could change it however I would recommend you see your piercer before doing anything with a navel piercing that is as new as yours is. Generally we ask you to wait 6 to 8 weeks before giving any consideration to changing the jewellery. So best be is to talk to your piercer and get some guidance in regards to changing the jewellery before you go and do it and damage the new piercing.
Listen you can change the jewellery if you want, but if the piercing is healing and looking fine I would suggest you leave it alone and let it really heal (3~6 months). Changing the jewellery early will subject the piercing to needless irritation and possible damage from changing it, thus tearing the new skin your body is trying to form in the piercing.
After the swelling, tenderness, and redness has gone away. Thats usually after 1-2 months. You want to be really careful with a navel piercing because its a surface piercing. When you change it, only use titanium, surgical steel, or glass. Don't use acrylic or anything else until its completely healed.
Yes.
I would say no. A hernia is inside your stomach and you have a lump around your belly button. So my guess would be if you have a hernia, you can't get your belly button pierced.
I know belly button link comes from felt... but oddly enough, felt is produced from belly button lint too.
No you cannot kill someone by poking them in the belly button, that is a myth. The only way that could happen is if they Had a Hernia in their belly button and you ruptured it. If you stabbed them or shot them in the belly button it could possibly kill them. However a simple poke or twirl in their belly button will not harm them. A hard poke would hurt, but it would not be fatal.
No, it doesn't. The only reason it would stick out is if your belly button stuck out orginally.
It would be your belly button.
Because it somewhat resembles a button and it is on your belly.
The answer is; you don't. Your too young to spell your own age correctly so your hardly old enough to have a belly button piercing.
It is infected!
He was rumored to not have a belly button.
if you poke it with something sharp enough.....try it and see for yourself!
not really. the belly button is the end of a cord that transfers nutrients to the baby while it is still in the womb. so if a baby didn't have a belly button, it would probably be dead. however, you can have a deformed belly button, depeding on how it was cut. what do you think ask every one if they have a belly button and you got your answer.
