yes it will. i just got my ears piercied about one year ago and it is just now healing. your ears take about 1 year to heal all of the way. but if you are just getting your ears pierced you will have to wait about 3 months to where regular earrings. you cna clean it with alcohol to shorten the healing process Yes barring any infections or injuries on the ear lobe

I have both pierced so if your looking for piercing advice, the lobe dosent hurt at at all, but the cartalage is quite sore and throbs for like 2 hours after getting it done. If you cant get your cleaned finger nail between the stud front and your ear lobe then the stud is too tight and needs to be loosened, ease the backing off the back of the stud and move the stud so you have space between the stud face and the ear lobe. If worst comes to worst take the studs out and replace them with good quality sleeper rings.
