you ears were not fully healed. When you go up a size, for example 8g to 6g, you should not clean your ears until 5days to at least week. Use alcohol, then put organic tea tree oil on your lobes (this will help your ears heal faster because it is an antiseptic). then wait about another week or two to go up a size, or when you think your ears are ready (the inside is no longer red or swelling has gone down) so that they dont pop.
