Mascara- They say you should change or re-buy your mascara every month. Personally I've had mine for several months and it's still just fine and works the same.
Eyeliner- I don't think eyeliner really ever "expires", because I've had the same pencil for a year now although gel liners are probably every 4 months.
Eyeshadow- Same as eyeliner, but there is a certain point after a little more than two years where I feel like they don't have as much pigmentation.

It may seem stupid that they expire but when you set up codes they have to expire at some point or else if you use them say like a year later it's gonna set a virus on your computer it's kinda like food if you make a food product it has to expire or else if you eat it say like three years later it will make you sick it kinda works like that :D
