The best and most economical self-tanner is sunless bronzing mousse. The components used in the creation of the Bronzing Mousse are organic. This lightweight product is perfect for first-time self-tanners or those with light to medium skin tones because it makes application simple and produces faultless bronzing results.
This is a straightforward mousse for at-home tanning that will give skin a gorgeous, ready-to-wear radiant glow for 5-7 days.
i would say tanning lotion cause its very thick and it's very good protection from sunburn's,or other severe skin conditions.
The sun.
Spray tans can be a great alternative to the harmful sun rays. Sunjunkie is the leading tanning spray.
There are spray tan's or you can lay in the sun or applying tanning lotion. It can be difficult to use but it does work. it will look like a natural even tan.
Yes
Nothing will completely block all UV light and stop you from tanning. An SPF will simply delay the amount of time it takes for you to receive MED's (minimal erythemal dosage). So in theory, a SPF 30 vs an SPF 8 will allow you to spend more time in the sun and delay the tanning process(by minimizing the penetration of UV light)

Using self tanning creams is the healthiest way to get a tan. First, make sure you use a cream as opposed to a spray. Spray self tanner is very difficult to put on and to make it look even and real. Also, before you apply the cream, exfoliate your skin. You will feel better and the tanning solution will apply more evenly. To prevent your hands from turning orange, either wash them every five minutes while applying the cream or wear latex gloves. Ten minutes after you are done, apply lotion to your elbows and knees to lighten the effect and blend it all together.
Although I think spray on tans or lotion is a safer bet, I think this would be a good start if you're still looking for a tanning bed www.discounttanningbeds.com/. You could also try www.ebay.com.
go to a tanning salon, and go in a tanning bed. you'll get vitamin d. spray tan is horrible, there is nothing to help it look less orange-y. When and if you go tanning, be sure to use a tanning lotion, as well moisturizing your body with a body lotion after tanning, before bed, and after bathing. so that your skin doesn't dry out. okay. STAY AWAY FROM SPRAY TANS!!!! Sorry but, this is INSANE! Tanning bed's are very unhealthy and if you use the spray tan's properly you will not look orange. Go to a tanning salon and use their spray booth, but be sure to apply the blocking lotion they provide to your hands and nails; and lightly to your knees, elbows and tops of your feet. Also be sure to dry off well with a towel as soon as you get out to avoid any splotting. Using a tanning bed can cause skin cancer just as easily as the sun can and you will look older much quicker. If you follow this above advice (though I highly recommend not following it) be sure to cover your face with a thick towel and use self-tanner/ bronzer later. Covering your face in a tanning bed will save you on botox and chemical peels in the future. HONESTLY, I would get a spray tan in a booth over a tanning bed. Some locations have the clear solution that doesn't rub off on your clothes & some also has a bronzing solution. The bronzing solution is more of a brown color so you don't have to worry about looking orange. But you do have to be careful to not wear nice clothes if you were to get the bronzing solution because it does rub off on your clothes. It will wash out though.
Tanning spray is a widely available cosmetic product. Appropriately, there are no commercially available brands of tanning spray that do not wash out after a few showers.
L.A. Tan has both spray tanning and tanning beds. It would depend on your age and where you live though if they would let you go in a tanning bed :)
Spray tans, if done properly, can be a safe and healthier way to achieve a golden summery look without painful burns! I would suggest going to a tanning salon that specializes in spray tans, in order to avoid the 'first time tanner' problems.
