Connective tissue papilla plays a role in supporting the hair follicle by providing a structural foundation for hair growth. It helps anchor the hair follicle in place and facilitates the exchange of nutrients and waste products between the hair follicle and blood vessels. Additionally, connective tissue papilla helps regulate the growth and regeneration of hair cells.
The renal papilla is located in the kidneys. The function of the renal papilla is to store urine before it is excreted from the bladder. It contains part of the secreting tubules and the collecting tubules.
Dermal papilla with their fingerlike structure and in this way increased surface are responsibly for exchange of oxygen, nutrients and waste products between the dermis and the epidermis.Additional they serve to strengthen the junction between epidermis and dermis.Source(s):http://ridgesandfurrows.homestead.com/fr…

Extensions of the body cavity, located between dermal ossicles, where gas exchange occurs.
Medications for hair loss treatment prevent the conversion of testosterone to dihydrotestosterone (DHT) in the body.Dihydrotestosterone is a sex steroid and androgen hormone that plays a major role in hair loss. Male pattern baldness is caused by the hair follicle's sensitivity to DHT. The follicles shrink, resulting in a shorter lifespan and the abnormal production of hair. The most important part of the hair follicle is the dermal papilla which is responsible for the growth of hair. The dermal papilla cells divide and differentiate to form new hair follicles. The papilla is in direct contact with the skin's blood capillaries, from which it gets its essential nutrients for proper hair follicle growth. The dermal papilla has a large number of androgen receptors (more in males than females). When DHT gets to the dermal papilla, it undermines the absorption of vital nutrients required for healthy hair follicles. Hair follicles have resting and growing phases - without proper nutrition, their resting stages get longer while their growing phases get shorter.

Waste fluids are normally collected by the medullary pyramids of the kidney. Urine usually passes through here into the renal papilla on the way to the renal pelvis and then the ureter. The papilla is part of the system that carries urine to the outside from the kidney.
The skin is attached to underlying structures by a network of collagen fibers called the dermis. These fibers anchor the skin to muscles, tendons, and other tissues, providing support and structure to the skin. This attachment helps maintain the integrity and function of the skin.
