Tampons can still be felt to some degree, also they can cause some people to feel dry or result in increased menstrual cramps. It may be that you can feel your tampon because you have a short vaginal canal, because it's too high an absorbency, or because of sensitivity to ingredients. For this reason you may want to consider options like menstrual cups, softcups, menstrual sponges, or menstrual pads.

I'm assuming you mean sex and the answer in that case is to remove it before you attempt to have sex. If you leave it in it can cause serious health problems.

Why would a tampon feel uncomfortable after you unspread your legs?

If you can feel the tampon of feel uncomfortable once you have closed your legs then the likelihood is that the tampon isn't inserted high enough. The first few inches of your vaginal canal are narrower than further-up in the vagina, if not inserted far enough the tampon will sit in this area and as the vaginal muscles push together they would push against the tampon. This area also has more nerve endings so even if there is no discomfort you are still more likely to feel the tampon if it's here.

You know where a tampon goes but you can still see it what do you need to do?

If you can still see the tampon once it's inserted then you've not inserted it far enougj. Remove the tampon and try again later, this time insert higher - it's best to use non-applicator tampon so you have better control over insertion.

If you squeeze your muscles should you feel the tampon inside you?

You may, particularly if it's large or has been in for a while. If you feel discomfort when sque3ezing your muscles, the tampon probably isn't in far enough.

I was drunk one night and i don't remember if i took the tampon out.would my partner have felt the tampon.if not how far did it go.?

Yes they Would of felt and seen the tampon. Although if your partner was also intoxicated then he may of not felt it, but it would of stopped the penis from going a mere 3 inches in your vaginal opening. And also it can not be still in there if it was in the first place, It wouldn't of went far at all during intercourse, therefor if it was still in your vaginal opening you would be able to see it and/or feel it.

What will happen if you finger with a tampon still in?

Not much. You might stick it too far in and if you can't get it out you have to go to the gyno.

How do you know when your tampon is in right that you would not bleed?

Tampons should be inserted as far as you can comfortably reach or until the applicator plunger is all the way in, once in position you should not feel any significant discomfort - if it hurts to sit or move then the tampon isn't in high enough, push in further or remove and try again in a few hours. As long as the tampon is in the vagina and used correctly you shouldn't leak.

Can a tampon go far enough inside that you cant get out after having intercourse?

No, a tampon can go no further than your vaginal canal. If you struggle to find the tampon then squat and push down to force it down closer to the vaginal canal to make it easier to reach, if you still can't remove it then see your doctor.

When i use a tampon my flow just passes it. how far is a tampon supposed to be inserted?

Tampons should be inserted as far as you can reach, you shouldn't feel them once inserted correctly. If the flow is going past the tampon it may be the shape of your vagina or the cervix may sit lower than the tampon - the tampon may go to the side of the cervix, rather than under it to catch flow. Try different types of tampons like soft tampons, or use options like menstrual cups, softcups, or pads instead.

How do you put in your tampon?

You will know if you've inserted it the wrong way. It won't feel right, and it won't be comfortable. If you think you've got it wrong, take it out, and start again with a new one. Don't worry about anything. Just be calm, relax, and go for it. We all had to learn, you're not the only one! I hope this information helped.

At which angle do you insert a tampon?

When inserting a tampon angle it towards your lower back (the top of your butt). If you can still feel it after inserting you didn't put it in far enough (almost everyone does this first time using tampons)

Can a tampon feel weird even If its in right?

When you put a tampon is, you have to push it as far up as you can, don't worry it's not dirty to put your finger up your vagina to push it up. Once it's in, you should try standing up to see if its comfortable. In my opinion i think tampons are easier & more hygenic than pads. I feel more comfortable and don't feel self concious.
