I have curly frizzy hair, and this is what I do to style it.
1) Go take a shower and when your hair has conditioner in it brush through the whole thing.
2) When you get out of the shower, don't rub your air dry, squeeze the bottom of your hair to get the water out.
3) Put in some leave in conditioner, your choice, but don't brush it through again. That causes the frizz.
4) If you take showers at night like me, put it in one braid for the night. Tip: Put it to the side so it won't cause friction to your head and your pillow. Tip: Put one hair band on the top of the braid, one on the bottom. Just so hairs will stay in a braid.
5) Take it out in the morning and you'll have frizz free hair.
No, if your hair is dry it will frizz also... and there are probably other causes...
Frizzy hair is caused by your hair follicles not having enough moisture in them. Use a moisturizing solution to control frizz.
humidity causes hair to frizz when its dry hair drying frizzy usually means its over porous or you have split ends
Using an anti-frizz product will help to tame wavy hair frizz. One product that has good reviews is Frizz-Ease by John Frieda.
Use better shampoos and get an anti-frizz serum.
One of the major causes of hair frizz is hard water. Hard water basically is water that is replete with contaminants that are deleterious to not only human body, but also animals. Among the hair problems it causes is frizz. So one of the most practical things you can do is using a shower filter to soften the water and clear it out of chlorine, which is the most detrimental of the contaminants.
my wife says it will control the frizz but make it greasy Yes, you can leave conditioner in your hair to control the frizz. Just keep it off the roots and apply only to the mid-shaft and ends of the hair.
There are a wide variety of anti-frizz serums that will help your hair become less frizzy. You can also think about buying shampoo and conditioner that fights frizz. But, for on-the-spot relief of frizz, I would suggest pulling your hair into a ponytail (if you can) or trying to manually flatten your hair. If that doesn't work, sometimes actually dampening your hair reduces frizz. But, whatever you do, don't brush your hair. It just adds more static and frizz into your hair.
of course
Overly dry hair
You can use leave in conditioners or you can buy shampoo and conditioner that will help ease frizz away.
Hair frizz is where hair seems to go out of shape and makes you look supposedly "unattractive" my opinion on the matter i think it makes your hair look rubbish.
