By that i guess you are asking how longs after the piercing do you have to wait?? If so, I was told 1 week before swimming in chlorinated swimming pools
Nope! Minimum 3 months. Most likely longer, though.
after a couple of monthes but i think you still have a small scar afterward
Cartilage!<3
Having a piercing on the side of your lip :3
No more than 2-3 weeks. But, if you hit it or snag it of course it might get red but the constant discoloration shouldn't last long.
Usually about 3 days for the discomfort to ease. If the piercing is still sore after a week (5 days) then you need to alter your aftercare routine. Go back and talk to your piercer for added guidance.
Wait 2-3 months before submerging it in water. It isnt the chlorine that you should worry about. Water is FILTHY an all of those germs with a new piercing greatly increases the risk of infection
Never try that it is very very bad
It sounds to me like your talking about a dermal or a horizontal navel piercing which is a surface piercing. But from the sound of it it's a dermal piercing because I've never seen a surface piercing with 3 balls unless there 3 different piercing in a row. I could help you more if I saw a picture of what your talking about.
If its been swollen, discolored (red/purple), or itchy for more than 2-3 weeks. Or if the drainage from the piercing is a dark yellow/greenish color. It could just be irritated if its red and swollen. Go check with your piercer to be sure.
Generally you will know your piercing is infected if the following 3 symptoms are present: 1. the openings are red not just pink and may burn 2. the area is feverish 3. there is puss at or coming out of the openings. If all 3 of these symptoms are not present you probably just have a slight irritation and can usually be remedied by going back to the cleansing regimen you used when you first got your piercing for 2-5 days.
