What do you do when your ten month old nipple piercing starts bleeding?

It can take up to a year and a half for nipple piercings to be totally healed, so don't freak out about this. Wash them like you would when you first got them done, and be very gentle. My other suggestion is a warm salt water soak with about 1/4 teaspoon of non-iodized salt and 8 oz warm water. This should ease any pressure, and clean up any small infection that might be there.

Can you use peroxide on navel piercings?

No. Peroxide dries out your piercing so that it can't actually heal. Use sea salt soaks and clean it with a q-tip.Sea salt soak:1 cup water1/2 teaspoon non iodized sea saltBoil those together until you see no particles and then let it coolPut some of it in a spray bottle and some in a shot glass and hold that to your piercing for 15 minutes before bed.

Will it hurt to put Epsom salt on a nose piercing?

You don't want to put Epsom Salt OR table salt on ANY piercing. They contain sugar and will cause infection. The ONLY thing to put on a fresh piercing is SEA SALT. Using 1/4tsp of sea salt with 8oz. of warm water, and soak the piercing for about 10 minutes twice a day. It is the best thing to help heal your piercing. When you are in the shower, use Dial soap to clean it also. But sea salt soaks are amazing for helping heal a piercing.

How do you stop a nose piercing you did yourself from getting infected no stupid comments about home piercing you think i dont already know...?

It's best to use a sterile needle to do the piercing in the first place, but to keep the piercing from getting infected, I would suggest using 'Satin Thereputic Skin Cleanser'. This is an anitmicrobial soap made specifically for cleaning piercings. You should also soak the piercing in hot water mixed with non-iodized sea salt (not epsom salt) several times per day for the initial healing time. That happened to me. It's best just to take it out let it heal then do it again with a sterile needle and sterile nose ring. Second Answer Salt and water. It will sting. It must be SEA SALT, not table salt. I cannot stress this enough. Good luck. :)

Can you clean a navel piercing with head and shoulders?

No. You dont want to use any soap or body wash on it. They can be really drying and irritate the piercing. You have to use saline/salt water soaks. Put a pinch of natural sea salt into a shot glass of warm water and use it to soak the piercing. You can either push the glass up against your belly to create a suction or soak a paper towel in the solution and hold that on the piercing for about 5 minutes. Do that 2-3 times a day every day. If thats too drying, substitute one of the salt soaks with just a normal warm water soak.

How do you clean the angel kiss lip piercing?

I just got an angel kiss piercing a few days ago. What you do is you have to soak it in 8 oz. of warm water and 1/4 tsp. NON IODIZED sea salt. You want to dissolve the salt into the water by the way. You do this 5-10 mins. once in the morning and once at night. DO NOT try to move your piercing like you would id you got your ears pierced because that's basically like ripping off a scab and that will just take longer to heal. I hope this helps (: if you have any other questions about what to do with your piercing e-mail me at MyChemGirl94@hotmail.com

How do you manage a nose ring piercing right after . Should I wait 2 days or threes?

Soak your piercing in a mixture of warm water and natural sea salt. Put a pinch of sea salt into a shot glass full of warm water. Soak your piercing for about 5 mins no more than twice a day or you'll dry out the piercing. If the salt is too drying just use it every other day and use warm water instead. Don't ever use alcohol or hydrogen peroxide because it kills whats helping your piercing heal.

Can your industrial piercing get infected if you used alcohol on time?

Don't use alcohol. It kills the healthy cells. Soak your piercing in a sea salt solution. Put a pinch of Natural Sea Salt into a shot glass of warm water. Do that 1-2 times a day to keep your piercing nice and healthy :D

How do i artificially age a coin?

How do you clean a freshly pierced eyebrow?

Soak it in a mixture of sea salt and water. Put a pinch of natural sea salt into a shot glass full of warm water. Soak your piercing in it for about 5 minutes 2 times a day. You can use really gentle soap on occasion ( 1-2 times a week). Never use peroxide or alcohol on a piercing because they delay healing by killing whats helping your piercing heal.

How do you get rid of the dry stuff around the lip piercing?

DO NOT PICK IT OFF WITH ANYTHING BUT WATER. when your in the shower then put your face in the water and the crusties should come off. when not in the shower use a sea salt solution. get non iodized sea salt and a warm cup of water put a teaspoon of the sea salt in it and mix it and dip a q-tip in and lightly move the crusties from around your lip piercing. If your talking about a healing piercing this is what you should do.

How should you care for your ears after getting them pierced?

Soak your piercings in a sea salt and warm water solution. I put a pinch of sea salt into a shot glass of water and use a cotton ball to soak my tragus piercing. Do this at least once a day. I do it twice daily but if that dries out your piercing only do it once. Also, using more sea salt doesn't make the soak better. Its actually worse because the salt will dry out your ears. You can also use a gentle soap while in the shower but not Dial. Dry your piercing with a paper towel instead of a cloth towel to prevent it from snagging and because the cloth isn't as clean and may leave fibers behind.
