If it's premeditated it shouldn't be, when I had stitches after having a disfigurement removed they gave me a cream that made my skin unable to feel on the applied area temporarily. So they might give you that luxury too, though my disfigurement was small, I think they would do it for a large area or incision too. But if you come in unsolicited bleeding then you might not be afforded that liberty.
Yes and it is painful and irritating for the duration.
To some extent it will for a second. When stitches are removed there is a little tug of the stitch as it is taken out. You can feel it, but it isn't as bad as when the stitch was put in. I had 8 taken out recently and was glad to have them out since they started to pull a little on the area where they were.
No. Administering stitches to a dog is a painful process and the dog might react violently due to the pain if the vet tries to put on stitches without sedating him. So it is best to sedate the dog before trying to sew him up.
You have to keep stitches dry for at least two days after getting them. You should check with your doctor to see if they should be kept dry for a longer period of time.
the smaller the stitches, the less likely it would come apart.. think about when you baste something.. the long stitches can easily be pulled out

Sure, here: I think that getting my tooth pulled will be painful.
I've heard cleft lip is really painful as there is pretty much just an empty spot of the roof of his/her mouth. As kids get used to it, the pain goes away. I suggest that if any of your kids have cleft lip, to let them get stitches.
Yes, the stitches would cover the hole where your tooth was extracted. This is to help the gums heal without food getting caught in the hole.
Well don't even thick about it. okay It's the best thing. :)
