∙ 14y agoAt least a month. You really want to make sure you don't damage your hair by using other chemicals if you just got chemicals put in. If you want to be extra careful, try two months.

∙ 14y agoIf you are doing a home color, the instructions will tell you if you are to shampoo immediately after coloring or not. If the instructions say to just rinse your hair until the water is clear, then you can shampoo by the next day, or even that night if you colored in the morning. With some brands (types) of colors, you need to give your hair/scalp time for the hair shaft/cuticle to seal, which is the reason for waiting at least 12 hours before shampooing. If your hair was colored by a professional at a salon, you can shampoo as soon as you want, unless otherwise instructed by your hair dresser.

You should wait a day if you are going to the salon to have your hair coloured. If you are doing a home colour and it requires you to wash your hair right before you colour it then you can do it as soon as you towel dry it.
Hair color can be applied to your hair at least 2 weeks after a perm. Alternately if you color your hair first you must wait 2 weeks before perming.
If Color Fiend is a "temporary" hair color, it will last from shampoo to shampoo. In other words, it will wash out as soon as it is shampooed from the hair. If it is a "semi-permanent" color, it will gradually fade with each shampoo.
You can use any hair colour, but not too soon after relaxing your hair.
Get lighter highlights each time you go to get your hair done, and soon your hair will be a caramel color. You could do this, or you can bleach your hair, & then dye it the caramel color.

The Fancifull Mousses and Rinses are meant to be a temporary hair color and will wash out as soon as the hair is shampooed. It is not to be used as a permanent color. Also- the product works differently depending upon your color of hair and you may not necessarily get the results shown on the bottle.
