The individual extensions look like small strands of hair, glued together. You "fuse" these to your hair, and while they look better, they take A LOT of time and also damage your hair because they use the same sort of bonding agent.
The braid in ones usually last the longest, but they cost the most to get professionally done. I'm not sure how damaging they are, but a lot of stylists that I've talked to say this is way better than gluing.
I learned a new technique recently that you can use with either tracks or individuals. I'm not sure what it's called, but you take small sections of your hair and the extensionsusing a hook and pull it through a small metal circle thing. After you do that, you use a clamp to secure it all together. It takes a lot of time, but it looks great and it lasts a long time. It's also really easy to get out and it doesn't damage your hair much, if at all.
Whatever method you chose, you should make sure to buy high quality hair. Even if you glue them in, good hair can be reused multiple times.
you can keep them on for a couple of months if you want, but after a couple of weeks the gap starts to show so its best to get them in filled. its best to get them taken off though instead of letting them fall off as they start to look tacky.
Yes it is better to get them taken off, your nails need to breaths, let them get some air before you have anymore put on. you'll find ur nails staring to snap and thin if u keep them on too long!
My mom know that.I don't.
Go to Yahoo.comIt really helps.
Okay, you didn't even answer the question. So here's your answer:
There are two types of fusion. Hot and cold. Cold is the newer vesion of it, and I'm not sure if a lot of people use that method. Hot fusion lasts about four months, while cold fusion can last up to six months. Fusion is very expensive though, and damages your hair. If you want no damage weaving is the way to go. However, it's harder to do things with your hair. Your hair is braided right to left along your head and the extensions are sewed in. So if you put your hair up a lot, it's really hard to do.
Gel overlays are nail gel which are layered over the natural nails or can be used like acrylic (with tips - gel extensions) which helps the natural nail to grow stronger and look nicer. Gel comes in various colors and you they last upto 2-4 weeks depending on where you have them done. Gel is not as long-lasting as acrylic is, however gel is a better looking.
yes you have to make sure your hair is long enough though
Gel painting is a nail art technique that involves using gel polish to create intricate designs on the nails. It offers more precision and control compared to traditional nail polish, and the designs can last longer without chipping. Gel painting requires curing under a UV or LED lamp to ensure the design stays in place.
Typically, gel nail polish requires curing under a UV light for 2-3 minutes per coat. Make sure to follow the instructions provided by the gel nail polish brand for best results.
