I think you're describing a Captive ball/bead ring. Its really difficult to explain by typing it out and can be tricky to figure out for the first time. The best thing is to look up videos on how to open/close a CBR on YouTube or something like that.
Yeah. Some tongue ring balls are pretty big and may look tacky on lip rings.
not all rings with balls have to screw on, it depends what typre you're talking about some times i get the confusion when some wank stain calls a stud a ring, guessing that its a ring, its not always a screw on ring, my lip ring you clip the ball in, there is a hole running through the ball and out the other side and you put one side of the hole on one side of the ring and clip in the other side. hope this helped, next time ask the person who sells it.
It probably won't but it can. Your piercer should put the ball in there pretty tight but if the ball does pop out the ring could slip out.
It can be tricky. You'll need ring closers. If you only have pliers, wrap some medical tape around them so that you don't scratch the ring. My explanation might be difficult to understand so maybe search youtube for tutorials. -before you put it in your lip, tighten or open the ring just enough so that the ball will pop in and out easily-there are dimples on the ball -put the ring in your piercing then slip the ball into place - tighten the ring so that the ball doesn't slip out -the end :3
labrets is the typpe of jewelery used for your lip piercing. they have a flat back on one end and a ball n the other. the flat part is put inside your lip and the ball is the decoration on the outside :D
Just take the ball/bead out of it and put the ring on your lip. If the diameter of the ring is too long, it may not look realistic but just give it a shot. You can't do much else with it.
Well , if you want to put in the labret What you do is you Take off the little ball or stud at the end and set it aside , then pull your lip forward and put the screw part through your hole from the inside. If you haven't got the right gauge what i did was i put the screw part from the outside and the stud from the inside to break the skin , then it was perfect Happy Piercing xx Iris.
Place the ring then place the captive bead over the seam
yeah you should be able to, as long as the lip ring is the same thickness as the stud you had your nose pierced with, otherwise the ring will not go through. :) hope this helped.
sorry, you can't
if you just pierced it , you should wait 6-8 weeks to put in a new one or take it out.
Push the bead side ways and it will pop off the ring, it's called a captive bead ring, the bead is held by the tension of the ring nothing more. no to get the ball off, you turn the ball to your right. the phrase Righty tighty lefty losey applies only it's the left of the piercer in which case would be your right. if the ball is stubborn and still won't come off go to a the piercer that put the piercing in place or another body art studio and explain to them you can't get the ball off and they should loosen it for you.
