Okay, I have read a few "opinions" on this topic, and I don't believe anyone got it right.
One said that you need to "re-lighten" your hair. No, just go to your local beauty supply store, and ask a sales rep where the "toners" are. There are toning shampoos which I believe work well. FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS COMPLETELY THOUGH. If you don't, your hair will end up purple, and considering there aren't many people that can carry that color well, it wouldn't be a good idea. No need to go ask a stylist, you already have.
