You should always wait until after your braces are off to get any lip piercings because it does affect it and it is easier for them to get caught and injure yourself
You can remove your piercings after they are healed, unless you no longer want them then you can take them out anytime.
well they have to take that part of the braces off then they fill it and put it back on
They will have to take care of the piercings as they will have to keep the piercings clean and free of infection.
It takes about an hour to apply braces.
Talk to your Orthodontist, he or she may have issues with a tongue piercing being in the way when they work on your braces. If they don't have an issue with it then go for it.
I dont think you can take your braces off yourself i think you need to go to a orthadontist
Many people will tell you it is and maybe even your dentist (who really shouldn't have a problem with it) but I've seen so many kids in high school with more than one lip piercing and having braces so people do survive with no injuries lol but some places won't pierce it if you have them (braces) good luck :D ---- I would definitely wait. Lip piercings can get caught in braces an that really irritates the piercing. Lip piercings can cause enamel and gum erosion as well. You dont want to create another problem when you're trying to correct one. Placement for lip piercings depend on the placement of your teeth because the piercer wants the jewelry to have minimal contact with your teeth. Your teeth will shift with braces and theres a possibility that what was correct placement initially, is uncomfortable later on. Just wait till you get them off.
You take the backs off the studs and you take the jewellery out of your piercings.
You could potentially harm your teeth severely if you take your braces off yourself. To take them off, your orthodontist uses a special solvent on the glue that holds your braces on. If you don't have that solvent, taking your braces off can be very painful and damaging.
It depend on which orthodontist will take caresource but aslong as you have an orthodontist that take caresource you can get braces , but it depends on how severe your teeth are
You really need to talk to your Orthodontist before you run off and get any oral piercings. They tend to get really upset when people get oral piercings during a procedure My suggestion is to talk to him/her and see what they say first, but ultimately I would tell you to wait until they have finished with your procedure before getting any oral piercings done.
