Instead of selling it, why don't you donate it? There's a program called , "locks of love" and they make wigs for children.

In 2002, Locks of Love distributed 113 wigs (mostly to children with alopecia--hair falling out--not cancer patients), received $213,000 in contributions and made over $150,000 through the sale of donated hair. Let's see here...$363,000 divided by 113 wigs (which they charge for on a sliding scale) makes each wig worth well over $3000. I don't think so. If I had enough hair to interest Locks of Love, I think I'd sell it and donate some of the money to LoL.
