Once the piercing is fully healed, if the jewellery is removed the piercing is very hard to notice unless you walk right up and stare at them, at which point they will smile or tell you to back off because your gawking at them.
Muffimoose93: i have 5 piercings in my lower lip i only have 2 piercings in on my right side at the moment, the back of 1 on the left side closed up...so there are 3 holes that are very noticeable, i only use 16 gauge piercings which are a very thin size and i can see the holes very clearly from a distance of 5 feet away from a mirror.
Uh... Do you mean DAMAGED your lip ring (jewelry), or INJURED your lip (the hole/piercing)? Guessing you mean the latter, but without being able to inspect your lip, people can't help you much.
No, the hole will grow in in a matter of hours. You can order a hider to make it look like you don't have a piercing in your lip.
Technically, if its a ring, sure but keep in mind ur lip may be thicker then ur nose, u don't want to constrict ur lip and cause any problems, possibly best to just get a lip ring.
A lip ring is a piece of jewelry that goes in a lip piercing. It's usually a hoop.
you can get your lip piercing at age 14 depends on what your parents say about it
Wait 4-6 weeks after getting a lip piercing to change the jewelry in it
Well it's actually a Labret piercing taken from the latin word for lip. A Labret piercing is a piercing in the lip done with a Labret stud, captive bead ring or barbell.
The ring needs to be sized to the lip and placement will be discussed between you and your professional body piercer at the time the piercing is done.
You can get it without a captive bead, but it is not recomended. The captive bead protects your piercing unti it is healed by preventing the seam of the ring from possibly scarring. It can be worn inside the lip out of sight and changed out once the peircing is healed.
It is better to start off with a normal piercing (just like spikes), since your lip will firstly try to heal and will get bigger. If you start off with a ring there's a risk that when you lip get bigger the ring will stuck in it since the lip will have limited space to expand. It is recommended to switch to the ring a month after you started using the piercing.
If it's a vertical Labret piercing then it's a curved barbell, if it's a standard lip piercing it can be a labret stud or a ring.
Well because it orbits the lip, that's why it's called a lip piercing.
