No but you can screw up important saliva ducts and other important facial structures that control mouth movement, assist in chewing and swallowing. Seriously the dimple piercing is a case of piercing getting carried away, no professional body piercer knows what structures are where in the cheeks. You are taking a serious risk at having one or more facial structures permanently damaged by this piercing. Research your plan check out Elayne Angel's website and book "The Piercing Bible" for more information about cheek piercings before you get yourself into trouble.
