While most face paint is not made for very sensitive skin there are brand out there that will be good for people that have problems with their skin. Try the brand PURE or the brand Grimace. They are both made out of great products that will come off easily and not cause irritation.

Commercially there are a number of things available. I have a great set of oil based face-painting crayons, as well as a set of "pots" of the same type of paint. The crayons are great for large shapes and designs. The Pots of colour can be applied with your fingers for coverage of a very large area or with brushes for detail work. I recently acquired a set of water based face-paining crayons. They are easier to remove, but not anywhere as easy to apply. There is a set of professional face paints available for purchase at some arts and crafts stores. The brand name is Snazaroo and it is made specifically for use on skin. It is used by professionals.
