Yes, in fact it is becoming a more accepted style for men that has actually been emerging over the last few years. Consider it the new "earring" for men. It is a means or reason for men to take better care of their feet (most men don't) and women have found that suggesting to their guy to try it is initially reacted to as "what the...?". But once he get spast his inhibitions and tries it, he is usually hooked.
Salons will verify this, that more men are having pedicures, and more are either asking for polish, especially on their feet, or are open to the idea when suggested. There are even unique colors of naill polish designed for men now, polishes in more masculine shades than women's. BB Couture offers an entire collection for men, and Man Glaze has two matte shades for men.
If you think about this way, that women have worked hard over the last few decades to earn equality with men and the ability to make free choices in what they wear, what kind of work they do and how they live their lives, that it only seems natural that men should enjoy similar freedoms. But unfortunately much of our society has not gotten there yet.
Men who choose to experiment with nail polish are helping to set the future course of style and what is commonly accepted. The women who encourage men to open their minds and try new things are a great asset to our society as well. We need more open-minded people who live their lives in a way that they can freely express their creativity while enahncing the lives of others by offering diversity.
yes it makes me feel happy. im a blue what are you! will you go out with me

I've been wearing polish for a month now. I lost a bet, movie trivia... the stakes were "loser paints his toenails hot pink for a week, takes photos in a public location, posts photos on Facebook and Plenty of Fish accounts, must wear sandals when out except work." This was supposed to be humiliating - but it wasn't at all!
It took 3 months for 23 women on PoF to click to "Meet Me" - after posting the photo, that number doubled in 5 days and now stands at 60. Women approach me just to ask why, and can't resist getting a photo of their toes with mine. By the end of the first week, I had figured out that -I- define my masculinity, and it has nothing to do with the color of my toenails.
I've always been ashamed of my big, bony, long toed, veiny, ugly feet. But with polish on, they look good enough that the biggest complaint-iment I get is that "Yours look better than mine!" At this point, I would be embarrassed to show my unpainted feet, in exactly the same way that I would be embarrassed to drive an unpainted car.
There are even companies that make polish for men - Manglaze, and BB Couture for example.
Bottom line - I don't feel different about myself... but I do feel much better about my feet. Guys, you really should try this for a week - you'll be surprised!
Clear nail polish is great if you want your nails to look shiny and feel smooth without actually wearing a colored nail polish. Also, applying clear nail polish over a nail polish color you are wearing preserves the colored nail polish for a longer amount of time.
At meets, some judges will take a deduction for wearing nail polish, but it is okay to train whilewearing nail polish.
Food is not safe when handling food while wearing nail polish. Nail polish is a toxic substance that should stay away from food at all times. It is better to wear gloves.
yeah she wears nail polish. Although in a bunch of pictures she is usually wearing black nail polish.
There is no specific name for someone with a fear of people wearing nail polish. This is a very common phobia that people have. ÊAlektorophobia is the fear of chickens.
Over long periods of time, nail polish can possibly damage a nail. Wearing nail polish constantly does not let the nail breathe and the nail can turn a yellow color. As long as you make sure to let your nails breathe once in a while, you should be fine!
My personal opinion of men in nail polish is that it is a little bizarre. When I se a man with anything on his nails, I think, "why the heck is a guy wearing nail polish!?" But this is just my opinion. Hope I helped you!
