sound like when it heats up it shuts off and then when it cools down it starts back up that would be your engine temperature sensor
There are several reasons why a car would start and then shut off immediately. It could be battery cables, a fuel problem, or even a bad spark plug.
it could be the starter. Mine did the same thing and i changed the starter and it works good now. When mine would be hot it would not start but it would start right up when it was cold.
you may be using the the key for the.... well i dont remember what its for, but it cant start the car for very long( a few secs at most) but the other key that comes with the car can start it, if you are using the right key, it may be bad fuel or a loose/broken belt or many different problems, but that would be my guess
The most common cause would be lack of fuel. But without having more information that is just a guess.
Check the fuel pump relay.
wrong oil filter , bad oil filter gasket
I suspect a bad distributor. Honda distributors have been known to fail.
I would start with the Pickup Coil and the Crank Sensor.
What base directory would you put a script in if you wanted it to automatically start when the operating system starts?
I would imagine someone starts it and passes it along.
I would be looking at the distributor shaft. They have been known to loose their magnetism. I've had this problem with my 1987 Suburban in the past.
