Either something is on and pulling juice, or the battery is old and cannot hold the charge.
A long slow trickle charge (3 amp or less) is always best for the battery.
If you are 100% sure the alternator is good, then either the wiring or the battery are bad. If the battery has a dead cell it will not hold a charge. Disconnect the battery cables and clean the connections. Charge the battery with a battery charger, and then connect the cables. If the battery is over 3 years old, it is more than likely bad.

New battery needs a charge? Loose or corroded battery cable? Engine seized? Bad starter Bad starter solenoid? Bad neutral or clutch safety switch?
Remove the battery, or disconnect it, and with any 10 amp/ 2amp, charger, pos to pos, neg. to neg. and charge it at 2 amp, till it is full. If you need to add water, add only distilled water to top the battery up. Use a charger with auto-shut off.

most likely it is because items, such as lights (trunk, etc.) are left on. Or that there is a short in one of the alternator diodes (is it charging correctly?). Or the battery is just old and no longer holds a charge. How often between running the car? It could be tha you dont give the battery enough time to charge sufficiently.

I'm not a mechanic / technician but if your battery is overcharging or the headlights are too bright so people are flashing their headlights at you when you are just using low beams ( it sounds like a voltage regulator problem )
the location of the battery is under the rear passenger seat
