My steering wheel shakes what could this mean? _____ try getting your car re-aligned.
im an auto technitian and it might be your alinment is off on either sides or both
perhaps it is bad hub bearing Tire out of balance, loose lug nuts, worn or loose wheel bearing, defect in a tire, etc.
If you are in Full time it is recommended not to go over 25mph that is probly why it shakes put it in part time you can go up to 55 mph in part time
broken belt in a tire.have them checkedwill be lump or dip in tread of one tire,can feel it with palm of handis common issue.,

Warped rotors

I would check tire balance and check for warped rotors, first. Check tires for blisters and check the steering linkage for worn parts.
buy a new car!
Take it in for a front end alignment, that should calm it down or it could be the tie rods hope that helps
