you would install the breaks the same way you do the front ones. 1. open hood , remove cap from brake fluide container . 2. loose wheel ,then jack up ,secure car ,remove nuts on wheel ,take wheel off . 3. loosen the main bolt holding pads together. 4. remove pads 5. place pads on newspaper , remove metal frame from old pads. 6. place new pads on newspaper ,spray brake glue to back of pads 7. put metal frame on new pads. 8. place brake lube on bolt to make brakes work easier 9.install both pads back into harness , use break pusher(clamp) to put pads into place. 10. tighten the break harness bolt (don't over do tightness of the bolt), put wheel back on , put nuts back on then lower car . done repeat each step for each wheel.

Not sure where or when you are hearing the noise but a check of the sub frame that hols the engine is a place to start. The sub frame is bolted to the frame near each front tire. The bolts go through the sub frame, rubber isolators, then into the main frame. Make sure that the rubber isolator and bolt have not pulled through sub frame. Also the other three things would be a broken strut, bad cv joint, or bad wheel bearing.

Well I would say Yes, I have 1997 ranger and I had to pull the dash out twice. Removing the steering wheel made it a lot easer. I disconnected mine from under the dash and took out four nuts holding it to the bottom of the dash frame. Make sure you disconnect the Battery and then the airbag wire under the dash.

Haynes is a good manual for this. This is rather hard as the entire front sub frame (holds engine and tranny) must be lowered slightly in order to slide the sway bar out the driver's side wheel well. 1. Remove left wheel. 2. Raise car and support sub frame with a jack. 3. Disconnect nut at the rack to the steering shaft - under a protective boot (make sure the steering wheel and wheels are straight - try not to disrupt this during entire process). 4. Remove sway bar links and sway bar bushings. 5. Remove rear sub frame bolts, and loosen front bolts a few turns. 6. Lower jack supporting sub frame enough to slide the sway bar out the wheel well. This basically how to remove the sway bar.

Well, if its anything like the one in my 1994 f150 then you just need to remove the steering wheel and its right there.. You will need to remove the airbag assembly and use a wheel puller to remove the steering wheel. I would also remove the negative bat cable before doing this as you will be messing with the airbag assembly. Dont use a hammer to try and remove the wheel, rent a puller.
