That's not a serial number but rather a part number--the part number for the whole engine. It could be any year.
The country located at latitude 3°N and longitude 101°E is Malaysia. The coordinates point to the capital city, Kuala Lumpur.
There are two major numbers on a Volkswagen engine. The first is the engine serial, which is stamped on the boss for the generator stand. It will read something like "AE 4225147." (The most important part of that is the letter or letters at the beginning of the serial number. There's a breakout of these letter groups in John Muir's "How to Keep Your Volkswagen Alive"--and he also lists the timing for each engine series.) The other, which you found, is the part number. 043 101 101a is a dual-port 1600cc engine--which dates from 1970 until end of production. Also, year of production really doesn't matter on a Type 1 engine since once VW designed an engine, they didn't change the way it was made. ?
The number indicates a VW typ1 beetle, not the year. The 111 prefix indicates a 1971 type 1 Beetle #101102 off the line.
From mid year 1970 to mid year 1972, 96 HP, 110.3 ci, automatic trans, 101 mph.
Are you sure that's an engine number? It doesn't look like one. What it looks like is a chassis serial number from a right-hand-drive 1972 non-Super Beetle. Engine serial numbers all have letters as their first characters, and the part numbers for entire Bug engines would start "111 101" which means: first three digits: car in which part was first used--111 is the standard Beetle fourth digit: subgroup--"1" is for the engine Fifth and sixth digits: functional area within subgroup--"01" is for the complete assembly ________________________________________________ I believe that the 122 indicates that it is a Volkswagen industrial engine. The 145118 part of the number would indicate that it was built somewhere between April and August of 1965.
Approximately 101 hp.
Ford Mondeo TDCi 90,115,130 or 155bhp. I would like to know which EGR valve be it 101 or 102 fits to which engine?
never
In most schools the 100 courses are for first year students and the 101 mean the first semester of the first year. 102 would be spring or second semester. 201 would be second year first semester.
The Taipei 101's construction started in 1999 and ended in 2004.
