In the past, all kitchen floors were covered with linoleum. The linoleum was worn.
Linoleum floors turn yellow because of over waxing or wax build up. The old yellow wax will have to be stripped off using a wax stripper. Janitor services do this all the time. After it has been stripped off put a light coat of wax on the floor and it will almost look like new.Using an alkaline product can cause linoluem to yellow.
If its new VCT probably, and you will need to strip the old wax & rinse good so there is no stripper residue.. it eats your new wax over time.... If it ceramic tiles NO.
Wash with a mild cleaning solution and do a buff every so often. Waxing floors comes with a work load, meaning every so often you will have to strip the wax off and start again.
You rip the floor out an put in a new one if you dont like the linoleum other wise it looks trashy

No, laminate floors should NEVER be waxed.
Dave's Insanity Sauce contains extremely hot chili peppers and vinegar, which can have a strong acidic and corrosive effect. When applied to wax floors, the acidity in the sauce can break down the wax finish, resulting in the stripping of the protective coating. It is not recommended to use such hot sauces for cleaning purposes due to their potential to damage surfaces.
