Just remove the drain plug.
the radiator drain plug is on the bottom right facing car from front. you may have to remove the sheild to get at it. my 2000 malibu uses a allen wrench to loosen the drain plug for the radiator. good-day !
Every car and truck is different however most ford vehicles have a 13mm or a 15mm drain plug. I would use a wrench to remove and install the drain plug since it is easy to damage the pan if it is overtightened. If the plug has been replaced, it may have a different size.
Raise the car and place jackstands underneath so that you can get underneath the car safely. Place a drain pan underneath the transmission. You will find a socket head drain plug at the bottom of the transmission and another on the side of the transmission. Remove the one on the side first so that you know that you will be able to get fresh oil in the transmission after you have drained it. Remove the drain plug at the bottom and allow the old oil to drain into the drain pan. After fully drained, replace and tighte the drain plug. Fill through the fill opening on the side of the transmission. Once full replace and tighten the fill plug. Remove the drain pan and properly dispose of the old fluid. Lower the car.
I would have to say you did not remove the engine oil drain plug.
YES IT HAS A DRAIN PLUG. iF WORN PARTICLES HAVE COLLECTED IN THE CONVERTER IT MUST BE REMOVED TO PROPERLY CLEAN. IF YOU ARE JUST DRAINING TO CHANGE TRANSMISSION OIL JUST REMOVE THE PLUG BY POSITIONING IT AT THE BOTTOM AND ALLOW TO DRAIN.
yes
- put car up on ramps or elevation to allow you to go underneath - put on emergency brake - go Under the car - remove undercarriage shield if equipped - remove the drain plug from the oil pan and let oil drain out. - remove replace oil filter - replace the oil drain plug and tighten - replace shield - fill up with correct oil as per manual ( most likely synthetic )
its like any other car but there is a belly shield underneath that can be taken out with a flat head screwdriver and you just remove the oil drain plug replace the oil filter and put the drain plug back in and fill with new oil its like any other car but there is a belly shield underneath that can be taken out with a flat head screwdriver and you just remove the oil drain plug replace the oil filter and put the drain plug back in and fill with new oil
The drain plug, on a 1993 Lincoln town car, is 5/8. The drain plug has special threads and cannot be replaced with a regular bolt.
The drain plug is located directly on the bottom of the radiator; more on the driver's side of the car. You will not see it unless you remove the black, plastic shield that protects the front underbody of the car; there are two small bolts (10mm) and 4 small 'phillips' plastic screws that need to be taken out to remove the black, plastic shield. The top of the drain plug has a 'X' on it. Just unscrew the plug with a phillips screwdriver and the coolant will come out. Have fun :)
If you are standing in front of the car. It is underneath of the drivers side.So you have to replace drain plug from under car.
