You could lose power if the exhaust manifold gasket has blown on a turbo equipped car because the turbo will not receive sufficient pressure. The turbo will produce less boost as it is powered directly by the exhaust gases.
More than likely you have a blown head gasket or cracked head. if the turbo isn't working its blown. dummy.
If you mean it suddenly started loosing coolant, then look for a leak. If you see no leak then suspect a blown head gasket. Stop driving the car until you get this repaired. If you continue to drive a car with a blown head gasket you will destroy the engine.
Yes you can damage the car by driving with a blown turbo. The most damage would be done to the engine because at high rpms it can begin to scrape metal on metal causing shards of the turbo to enter into the engine. Also if you accelerate at i high rate, it may begin to smoke because of the oil in the turbo. Damage may also be done to the exhaust. Accelerate slowly, check your oil and coolant, and you should be ok. But you're going to want to change that turbo out asap!
Water in the oil is a sure sign of a blown head gasket. Stop driving this car until you have this repaired or you will do serious engine damage.
if you hear strange noise from yurbo and you see white smoke from the exhaust and it is not pulling out air pressure!then your turbo is propably blown.
Possibly blown head gasket. Very serious condition. Have this repaired ASAP, and stop driving the car until you do.
Stop driving the car until you have this repaired as the coolant mixed with the oil will destroy the engine.More than likely you have a blown head gasket.
If not repaired at once you will get water in the oilpan. It can warp the engine head.
no if u take a turbo out of a car it is no longer a turbo charged car
