It may be wired wrong.
They are either the wrong bulbs or one of the filaments is burned out. The bulbs should have two filaments. One is illuminated when the lights are on. The other is brighter when the brakes are used.
Usually in the driving handbook, it tells you. Please correct me if I am wrong. I believe that headlights are turned on in the early hours of the morning and at dusk time (late afternoons and evenings)
sounds like a bad light switch.
There is a small metal the grabs the bulb connection in place. If it is worn out the bulb becomes loose with vibration. Have it checked and replaced in auto parts store.

The switch.
More than likely it is the headlight dimmer switch. All headlight operations go through it once you have turned them on at the switch. It can be the relay.
It probably needs a tune-up and the carb and choke looked at.
It would depend on what is wrong with the headlights.
try checking the IAC motor. if it stalls at idle then it could be that. or the egr valve. one of the two have to be contributing to the problem
My Jeep liberty fog lamp switch will not pull out unless the control for the headlights is turned on first. Could this be the reason?
